Lite Reconciliation: Commercial Expansion Strategy
OVERVIEW
After validating the restructuring of the main platform, we identified a new strategic opportunity: positioning financial reconciliation as a channel for commercial expansion within Liber.
The proposal was to create a Lite version of the product focused on rapid acquisition, intelligent financial data capture, and autonomous implementation — without reliance on the onboarding team.
This initiative emerged as a direct extension of the previously validated product architecture.

Strategic Context
Liber Capital provides credit solutions, receivables anticipation, and working capital management for businesses.
The acquisition of Evencard had a clear objective: gaining access to real cash flow and card transaction data in order to:
Assess clients’ financial health
Offer credit with reduced risk exposure
Provide more competitive interest rates
Reconciliation was no longer just an operational tool, it became a strategic entry point for commercial expansion.
O problema
Despite the improvements made to the main platform, a significant barrier remained:
A relatively heavy implementation process
Dependence on onboarding support
Longer time to value
More complexity than necessary for initial adoption
The question became:
How can we reduce entry friction while ensuring reliable data to sustain the Lite Version?
Lite Product Strategy
We defined clear guiding principles:
1. Autonomous Implementation
A simplified setup process with no need for dedicated onboarding support.
2. Read-Only Experience
Elimination of complex interactions, prioritizing clarity and straightforward data visualization.
3. Intentionally Reduced Scope
Removal of secondary features to accelerate adoption and minimize friction.
4. Mobile-First
The first version designed primarily for mobile devices.

Interface & Experience
The Lite version was built with full application of Liber’s visual identity, ensuring brand consistency and strategic alignment.
The design focused on:
Extreme simplification of user flows
Clear visual hierarchy
Prioritization of quick information scanning
Reduction of decisions and configuration steps
No extensive menus, no parallel reports, and no accumulated complexity, only the essential information needed to generate value.

Process
The work was based on the previously validated architecture, with a clear focus on scope reduction and strategic clarity.
The process involved:
Reorganizing and streamlining the experience
Applying Liber’s visual identity consistently
High-fidelity prototyping
Internal strategic validation
The goal was not to expand functionality, but to reduce entry friction.
Project Status
The functional prototype was completed as a strategic validation of the proposal.
Subsequently, internal restructuring shifted company priorities, and my involvement concluded before full development of the solution.
Additional Learning
This project reinforced the importance of:
Viewing product as a strategy for market entry and distribution
Intentionally reducing scope to accelerate acquisition
Distinguishing necessary complexity from accumulated complexity
In this case, simplification was not a limitation, it was a strategic decision to enable commercial expansion.
Continuity
This version was conceived as a direct extension of the structural redesign of the main platform.
